This post is a long time coming and now is the perfect time to post it.
My husband and I took a 22 hour straight road trip to Norman, Oklahoma to visit my mentor Breezy and her wonderful husband Alex over the New Year Holiday. Since they have moved back to California and we get to see them tomorrow, I thought this was the perfect time to celebrate them and reminisce their old awesome living situation in Norman that I couldn’t get enough of!
The wonderful Breezy and Alex. The left picture is from our adventure to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge where we saw buffalo and elk. The right image was on a random, sandy and beautiful beach in Norman. We were trying to reenact the horrible spread from Anthropologie’s January catalog.
Their lovely home down the street from Oklahoma University(OU). My favorite art pieces in their home. We share a love for Wes Anderson films.
Our special welcome.
Their magazine like bed.
A cute record player night stand.
The back yard and a homemade necklace hook.
I love open shelving! Perfect for the organized.
Last, but not least I was a huge fan of their kitchen window display. The whole week we were with them I was waiting for the perfect lighting to capture these beauties.
So there’s my tribute to my awesome mentor and her hubby. Breezy is a fellow photographer and she has inspired me in so many ways. I’m so glad God let me go to Ventura for school, so I could meet her and have my life changed forever.
